Amethyst – Perception, Intuition, Third Eye Chakra

Perhaps one of the more popular stones we see in use, amethyst is often revered for its ability to provide clarity.

Thus, it makes sense that it aligns with our sixth chakra, otherwise known as the Third Eye — which, consequently, is purple in color like the amethyst stone itself.

The unseeable Third Eye, located in the space between our eyebrows, is often called forth in yoga and meditation. It is believed to represent our untapped wisdom, the things we cannot see until we close our eyes and connect with ourselves.

Therefore, amethyst provides us the ability to connect with our innermost intuitive senses, allowing us to better illuminate our path ahead.

It is believed to alleviate the following ailments:

  • Brain fog and lethargy

  • Insomnia
  • Respiratory issues

Chrysocolla provides an emotional detox, drawing out negative thoughts and intentions, replacing them with sensitivity and tolerance.
